At your first visit, Dr. King will conduct a complimentary comprehensive examination. He will explain his findings and make a recommendation should orthodontic treatment be necessary. We find that our patients and parents appreciate the individual time spent with Dr. King as he explains their treatment and answers all questions.

You will find our examination process to be thorough and complete. Cosmetic and functional goals are tailored to the specific needs of each patient. All findings and recommendations will be explained to you in understandable terms and all of your questions will be answered. We will also discuss the orthodontic process and review your financial options and applicable insurance coverage in detail prior to the beginning of treatment.

Since every smile is different, Dr. King takes extreme care to develop the right plan for you. At your initial visit we perform a thorough oral exam. We will take x-rays and photos to analyze tooth shape, smile display, and all esthetic aspects of your teeth, lips, and mouth. Dr. King will then use these records to explain how your smile will improve with orthodontic treatment and discuss the functional aspects of your teeth and jaws. We want you to see how your personalized treatment plan will improve your face, jaw, smile, and overall quality of life.
